Pleco in fry tank
So my fry tank is starting to get a quit a bit of algae on the glass and rocks is it safe to put a 2 inch pleco in with them to help keep it clean? Will it be safe for the fry or even the pleco

Re: Pleco in fry tank
I have 3 bristle nose plecos in a tank I use for growing out fry and they seem to do very well. There's no algae in my tank what so ever plus they do a good job at eating any uneatin food. There also all about 1.5-2 inches.

What type of pleco? A Nerite snail might be better... or just scrape the glass, and appreciate that the algae on the rocks is extra nutrition for the fry.
