2 filters ONE tank

Postby tdOtjunior » Sun May 06, 2012 4:57 pm

I have a 35 gallon tank that I own 2 filters, 1 tetra whisper 20 and 1 tetra whisper 45. I'm currently running the 45...should I run them both??? I have 6 cichlids currently renting lol

If you got it you might as well use it. If you're parameters are in check fill the 20 with filter floss for polishing.

I ran both those filters on a twenty and a little sponge filter, now I dont use them after they dumped water all over my floor (The intake tube going from the impeller to theback disconcented and the impeller was spewing water on top of my tank then onto the floor.) Running both of those would run about 250GPH full of floss. so that turns your tank over about 7 times
