So I'm buying a 40 gal tank that I was going to use as a African breeding tank but it comes with a 9 inch tiger Oscar and a 6 inch JD I haven't read any good thing about the situation what do yous think Would it work until I could find someone to buy them at least

Oh my god no. Take the oscar to your local fish store tomorrow and let them find a proper home in it. That is far too small for an oscar half that size

I say you line up a LFS or person to take the fish before buying the tank. I would just feel bad even having it in my possession without a firm plan.
