How to Wire a two bulb fixture?

How do you wire like two bulbs. I understand you wire all the sockets but what do the starters get wired to.

Are you building a light or rewiring an existing fixture? Starters are rather ancient tech so im surprised to hear that you are trying to wire in a pair.

If I were you, I would get a rapid start HO T5 ballast like a fulham and water resistant end caps. No starters, push wires into end caps according to wiring diagram on the ballast and done. I've built about 10 lights this way and its easy.

Exactly what I did. To keep overall cost low, I used A/C ducting as reflector and a piece of board to give it rigidity but then my mess is hidden out of sight behind a wall :) A couple of chains to hang it from hooks in the wall at a suitable height and it was all done. If you are doing two bulbs then the Fulham WH5-120L will fire up two even 48" ones. They have clear wiring diagrams online, I'm no electrician and I still managed to get it right.. it fired up first time :)
