New tank, unspecified species

Postby Awesome-T » Fri Aug 10, 2012 6:28 am

Hi all!

First of all, I'm from Denmark, so sorry if my english isn't the best

One week ago, i bought a used tank, complete with eveything, also some cichlids. It is my first tank, so I'm pretty sure you guys will see alot of questions from me

My first question is about the fish that is in the tank. I don't know what kind or anything they are, and that is where i hope some of you can help, because I'm pretty curies about it

I have some pictures, I hope you can identify from.

I am really new to this, but I think:

2. Female Kenyi
7. L. caerulus (Yellow Lab)
9. Might be a young Johanni
11. Zebra
12. Might be a colored down Thickskin?

These are basically all guesses, except the Lab I'm about 99% sure of. The experts on the forum will be way better and more trustworthy than I am!

One appears to be pure however what makes you think the other one is? Something about the finnage just seems wierd to me if it is pure in my opinion poorly bred not the best looking zebra I've seen.

Im talking about #10. Some males get that lighter color. Im not an expert, so it might be a hybrid, but i think its just one of those males

#11 is the holding female zebra... not really pregnant
#10 is the male estherae... looks normal for a red x red strain to me.
