Are my convicts paired off?

Postby 1Cichlid17LoVeR7 » Wed Jun 06, 2012 3:41 pm

Are my convict cichlids paired off? The two have the same territory. recently my female started to get more yellow and slightly plumper. The male is very territorial and a few moments ago i saw the famale make, what looked like, movements to lay and egg. I cant see there so theres no way for me to tell.

So are they paired off?
What would happen if the female was laying or about to lay eggs?
Is there an age that it becomes imposable for them to reproduce?
