Stocking for a new Tank tank

Postby MrManners » Sat Mar 25, 2017 1:44 pm

Hello< this is my first post here. Im Chris from the UK and have just acquired a 48"L x 18"H x 18"W tank that I'm setting up for tangs. Im not new to tangs, I've kept many species (mainly lamprologines) up until 10 years ago when I became interested in monitor lizards and kept and bred many species of those. Anyway life got in the way and I had to sell all my lizards and now I'm venturing back into the tang game.
So for stocking my tank I'm wanting a pair of black calvus (will start with 6 juvies), 12 cyprichromis leptosoma and some sand sifters. I've never kept any sand sifters before and I'm really intrigued by them. I'm thinking a group of 6-8 xenotilapia or enantiopus. Which xenos would work in this tank? would enantiopus be ok in there with the calvus and cyps.
