I am setting up a new 125G giving them the proper size for my breeding colony, think its 9 or 10. They started spawning so upgrading them from 75g to 125G. I want to get the best coloration for the males, going with LED, any idea the light temperature that is best? 10K 14k? I know with these and sandsifters less light is more better for displaying those colors. I have N. Paracyps with them as well both regular and albino.

With black sand, I anticipate some great colors they have been over white sand.

I used two, 96w, 36" 10,000k and two, 96w, 36" blue actinic lamps on my 210g Kigoma tank and they looked great.
However, I found the best light for them was natural sunlight through the basement window. I used to have about a two hour window where these guys would just light right up.
