Just want to get opinion on guys i have and ones I'm wanting to put in my tank. Someone said I might have problems, but didn't elaborate. Currently I have the following:
2 Neo Helianthus
2 Black Calvus (like an inch)
2 Neo cylindricus
2 Juli marlieri (forget which ones exactly)
1 Brevis
Planning on getting some paracyprichromis nigripinnis.
One brevis sounds lonely to me. Calvus will usually duke it out if you have a pair in close proximity, juli's might too but it's all a matter of chance. Got pics?
Way too many rock dwellers for that size tank. Each of those needs a decent size territory. I usually recommend 2 rock dwellers in a 4ft tank. Experienced keepers might be able to make 3 work, but 4 is really packing it in and will most likely result in deaths.
I appreciate the help. I am wanting to get some small lace rock to stack in a few areas, right now things are going fine. I had 2 lelupi that last about 5 days, they were decent size, they Cylindricus I got at same time and were smaller. Other fish just didn't like the lelupi.
