I've seen a few setups on youtube frontosas mixed with malawis whats your view on that? i love frontosas was thinking of getting 2-3 for my new main tank its a 450 liter lots of hiding places,mixed with tanganyikans and malawis

Its risky.

Having a "few" fronts can leave you ending up with 1. It just depends on the temperament of the dominant male.

Also, don't recommend putting them with the faster/more active mbuna/peacocks. They might have a hard time competing for food. You'll probably end up with underfed fronts, or overfed mbuna.

i have started to try it so far so good but i have started them all as baby we will keep u up to date :popcorn:

getting enough food is an issue.

frontosa eating smaller fish also an issue when the frontosa mature.

And you most likely will not get long traitor fin as your malawi most likely will nip those off.
